Patricia, great lunchtime recital at LSO St Luke's yesterday. I reviewed 'Rapsodia' for International Record Review and, although not performing the Enescu due to change of programme/ pianist indisposition, I thoroughly enjoyed your performance. Do you always perform barefoot?!
Dear Mark, thank you for the feedback and also for your erudite and understanding review of Rapsodia in the International Record Review. At LSO St. Lukes I would have felt more at ease with Enescu, but we tried to save this concert, with the help of Polina, as best as we could. I mostly perform barefoot, but this is not the main point of my musical existence. Its just more comfortable. Sincerely, Pat

I took my son to the OBC for the first time today - he's 9 - and I'm really happy that his first experience was so amazing to listen to and watch. I'm not a big fan of Bartok, but we both thought the encore pieces were awesome. Violin encores too often transmit the message "See what difficult things I can do?", whereas you managed to get across something more like "See what cool sounds you can get a violin to make?" I find your web page as refreshing as your playing. As they say in Catalan, "Enhorabona i per molts anys!" |

Hello Patricia, Being a regular visitor of classical perfomances I have had some ups and downs. But it is only once in several years that a peformance really touches my heart! Your performance last week in Tilburg was one of that rare occasions. I want to thank you for that, it was truly extra-ordinary !! I do hope to see / hear you soon in the Netherlands again, and wish you all the best. Thank you. This is what I am living for... Pat
