Dear Patricia, I just heard you on the Folle Journee on Television playing the Violine concert of Tschaikowsky and i was simply amazed and deeply touched by your play. I am a musician personally, starting at 6 and ending at 17 being tought clarinet by Sven van der Kuip of the radio symphony orchestra frankfurt before i changed directions on architecture, to introduce myself firmly. I couldnt belief i didnt know you yet, but with your music you were speaking my soul, the way you express and interpret music...speachless...im saying this, as a small musician, cause i belief i played the same way out of the same reasons so you did everything the way i would have played it, i just could feel every emotion, every contrast, as if it was my own. So after the great concert i did research on you and what i read just named exactly what i saw and felt, why i decided to write. I could feel you imaginge pictures and stories while you play which in my eyes makes you understand the music and absorb it completely! Using notes, to completely pay attention on your feelings, emotions to not risk to get lost so the piece can get to its best!!!! Thank you for that enormeously...to me personal play. I didnt know where it came from, but i was almost certain it was your past and heritage that influences your play as well. In my eyes you are one of the few real artists who found his own key to the music. And tho i never played bare food i belief why you need it and it makes the piece even more authentic! Why i can almost say, your play is highly natural. You free music, give it its freedom and space to develop. I personally love that and i personally experienced the opression on emotional play, i personally was dictated on "behaviour". And i wasnt even harsh on the music. Finding out with whom you collaborate, especially the pianist Fazil Say, who i love to listen to just as well. its amazing how you found your partner(s) and make it a great whole.... So thanks for the great music, you add diversity to the genre. Best wishes and never stop develop and inventing yourself, Bjoern |

Patricia, I stumbled upon a youtube video of the October Concert at Concertgebouw, Amsterdam with Conductor Heinrich Schiff. You were playing Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto in D. WOW - You are incredible!!!!! You have such love, passion, technique and enthusiasm for the music. As I am writing this, I am listening to the video for the 30th or so time and it is as fresh and exciting as the first time I listened to it. I only hope that you tour the United States soon and come out west. In the interim, please get someone to post more concert videos of you making music to youtube!!! Love to watch and listen, With warmest regards, Glenn
